  • For the limp mode. Do not forget that the Allison is a learning transmission. You can't drive around on lower power levels and then use the upper ends of the chip if you haven't been running it. The Allison needs around 10-15 shift cycles on each level. As you reach 10 cycles, get on it a little bit. At 13-15... Get on pretty tough and that will tighten up the shift pattern and you're set. This is especially important if you have oversize tires. Before I learned this... I would limp in level 4.

  • No efi... And as it turns out... I had two bad injectors while taking this video.. I'll post an updated take off soon.. I did the replacement myself.. As well as blocked egr.. LLM turbo mouthpiece. I'm looking at doing a boost stick as well.

  • Hey looks like a decent rig ya got there. You should make the switch to EFI though.  Night and day difference!

    I have an 04 LB7 thats leveled out riding 305x55 on 20x10 wheels. When I tune it hott on Speed Loader, if I lay in it hard and go to anywhere near 100mph it goes into limp mode. BUT when I take her to the drag strip i put 285x75x16s on and she runs great everytime. hope i helped
