Most riders, myself included, turn into a corner too early, if we stay out just a fraction longer we will be smoother and faster as well as safer ie: not running wide.

@BruteRidR750 ..Thanks dude !! i use the gopro hd helmet cam @ 720 resolution, standard mount right on top of my helmet, and i focus on not shaking my head to much when im recording footage..so the viewer can kinda see what that ride would feel like..one thing ill point out is the lack of the lean angles the cam misses when its on my head..im down on my pegs..i do have a few vids mounted on my brake cylinder, and the leans look like im @ a 45degree angle..:)

Hey mate are your lines there intentional? The R1 tends to be taking conventional sweeping lines, from outside to the inside, but from what the video shows, you seem to be starting right on the inside, which in some cases forces you a bit wide through the corner. Isn't that making it harder for yourself?

@golf111golf ...super easy bike to handle...and yeah some people love the DRZ..and some say they Suck...but im @ 22,000 miles and still kicking like day 1...very dependable and reliable...most other brands are overpriced, and also cost alot more to maintain like KTM or apprillia or Husky ...1 thing is for sure, supermoto's will change your life ;)

@hinesdeal82291 I have one of these bikes(DRZ400SM)and an R6...I would keep the 600 hinesdeal82291...There uncomfortable the tank range is shocking and the overall finish of the bike is cheap...And the standard dunlop tyres are wank they slide all over the place...If you are still determined to change to a supermotard i would look at KTM...Better build quality and specification i.e. WP suspension/Brembo discs for the same amount of money as the DRZ...Just my opinion m8.

I've been holding out for a Dorso/shiver engine upgrade since Aprilia released dyno graphs for a 1200 engine oh about two or more years ago... but nothing since.... your guy must have some inside info! think it might be worth holding on a bit longer now
