This was a Trailer for Gran Turismo 5 Graphic's Engine. Something similar to this, but there is something only a few know. Gran Turismo 6 has been confirmed it is in Development. This trailer is also part of the technology and rendering they are going to use in GT6. They have been working on GT6 since GT5 was released. No knew about this, but i already knew about it. :D That is why this trailer was released a long time ago. :)
I'm very surprised that its only 196,000 polygons. Even though that is alot, and still twice as many as the average game, gran turismo 5 cars were made up of an average half a million polygons. Gran turismo 6 doesn't come out until 2023 so in 12 years, so you can be sure that they haven't releced any content like this yet. And a car in gt5 took about 6 months for one man to make. So they won't have finished there first load of cars yet.
i can give you an idea on how long it takes i do 3d modeling on google sketch up as a hobby and im not saying remotely close to as good as them but i built just turbo with insides and the compressor wheels etc and it took me like 30 hours to do and keep in mind thats just a turbo and that with out the complex lighting and rendering they did to get the shadows and gloss paint and all that it take alot of time that why people should complain about how long it take for them to make these games
@DUVKID No it's not coming in 2020 that was fake. It's not even going to take 5 years. PD claims that the game will be out sooner as they have the latest software in their headquarters now. Less time switching from PS2 to PS3 in terms of all that.
it actually isn't,this is a presentation by proper graphics to show what gran turismo 6...yes SIX would look like....and im sure they said there are more than 200,000 triangles in prologue,but the time trial looked better,its a good sign :D

Most of the cars, tracks and photo mode locations have already been developed in GT5, so all it needs is some more details, for things like cars and tracks (Not complete redesigning); more tracks; different races; menus; slightly better graphics and to actually finish the new car dealership. The only reason GT5 took so long, is because they had to move to a new, more advanced gaming console, unless the PS4 comes out before GT6 could.

Have you actually played it? I actually lliked the series until 2 came out, same as 1 with more cars.... and then 3 is just terrible, i thought it would be close to gt5. But.....How i was wrong....
This is Granturismo 6, neither is it for a game. It's Ray Traced, which at the moment is a new way of rendering a scene and can't be used in real time on current hardware.
i have ps3 and i wish i had forza for 360. it is better than grand turismo 5. i have played both and for a period of time i had a 360. GT5 was very dissapointing and i traded it in not long after i got it.
