@37megadethfan It's because most songs repeat the verse/chorus three times (ex: master of puppets, battery, seek and destroy, ride the lightning etc) So after they play their predicted interlude and solo section there is no point in listening to chorus a 3rd time. Most of their songs have the exact same song structure anyways (intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, interlude, solo, riffs, verse, chorus, outro) and it gets old.

@infernoquest441 Megadeth and Metallica have been my top two favorite bands since about 1989 and I hate the bickering between their fanboys. Endgame is better production wise and Death Magnetic is better musically. Endgame is pretty stale and generic without any standout riffs or melodies and Death Magnetic lacks the heavy ballsy sound and has shit mastering. But All Nightmare Long is my fave from DM and more satisfying than anything on Endgame. Keeping my hopes up for the new album though.

METTALICA has turned into a band that sounds like a garage band that plays METTALICA tunes. My METTALICA is not tha same METTALICA ya'll listen 2 now, not tha band I grew up with listening 2 all hrs of tha nite screaming thier songs @ tha top of my lungs, they BAND i loved no longer exists any more and if ya'll grew up w/'em, ya'll wood know that 2, those who have stayed w/em since tha begining....I applaude! Face it, MEGADETH has cum full circle and hasn't changed. They're still Metal

I'm also old enough to relize when some thing has gotten tired, dull n stagnit like METTALICA has gotten, they choose a direction that didn't sit WELL with the real fans that grew up w/'em. "NOT AT ALL" METTALICA didn't grow old gracefully, they hit a brick wall. A succescessfully selling CD doesn't mean it was a good listening CD to tha die hard METTALICA base FANS like me, I was let down w/tha 5 different directions they went, thin punk sound they evolved into. It wasn't METTALICA anymore.

@MrRichardNoggin I'm not too big of a New Metallica fan, but Old Metallica was better than Old Megadeth at one time and a few of Metallica's post-Black Album songs are awesome. Megadeth definitely kills Metallica these days though.

thats it..........I've held tha torch far too long 4 Mettalica and tacking tha crap that goes with them selling out with those bullshit albums since tha BLACK ALBUM, I'm not 1 to jump on a band wagon but Dave Mustaine and Co. truly kick ass. That's just thier songs and hellashish riff's, Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield have shit compared to Dave Mustaine's and Chris Brodric's solo's. Mettalica is trully SAD.

@kingstomman oh 1 more point 2 make, I'm in a band n we dont do any Mettlaica cover's from beyond tha black album,u consider what Kirk Hammet plays on a CD worth a shit....he hasn't had a decient solo piece since Ride The Lightening, that wha wha he use's really kills everything he does, its like a fucking crutch...when in dought whip it out and wha wha your way 2 tha end of tha song, get real. Listen to Megadeth's DAVE or CHRIS solo, thier fucking awsome. Come on man get with it!
