@jmcgimpsey72 YOU must be on dopes to believe this is Dope. Can't you fucking read it's Deathline International? Stop this motherfuckingly annoying crap.
IF this is "Deathline International," they were TRYING HARD to use vocal effects to mimic Ogre's higher vocals and more distinctive vocals. They did a decent job, I thought it could've been SP the first time I heard it, but I don't remember SP ever being so lame as to COVER on record, or to cover a diva in a song that sounds like it COULD end up being a cover by the Cure.
THANKYOU SO MUCH PEOPLE for telling me who this actually was. Someone I knew said it was SP when I hadn't heard them before, now I have their whole discography and I was pretty sure this wasn't them.
Someone said this sounds like Type O Negative. I have to agree it does sound a little like Peter Steele singing, but if they did it the song would sound alot heavier than this. I meant Peter Steele years back when he played with a metal band called Carnivore. Then again I heard Skinny Puppy and this doesn't really sound like them either. I don't think it's really that bad though of a remake, but to each their own on that.
i downloaded this song like 6 years ago. it also claimed to be skinny puppy.

The likes of Skinny Puppy do not have to remake other people's songs.
They wrote the book on how to be iconic.

This is not Skinny Puppy, it's Front 242. I've seen both bands live.

Yes, Deathline International - same album as Cutting Thin Blue Lines and a very odd cover of Rawhide. 1994, from the album Zarathoustra.

llamaspit3838 1 year ago
@llamaspit3838
That's not Ohgr.
Since Ohgr hated everything about his world, (the 80's) he would never take part in a cover of a shitty horrible 80's synth pop song.

well soft cell's version is the most famous, and it's from the 80's.
gmilf71 1 year ago
@gmilf71 except for that one time he did a cover of a shitty horrible mediocre 80's pop song by madonna
fhoffmann 1 year ago
@fhoffmann
Shit are you serious????
I am angry at Ohgr right now then. >:-(
Btw, Madonna is at least better than Soft Cell.
She's still horrible though.
