  • This has always been my favourite powerful scene from the original V. For anyone who hasn't seen the whole thing, check out chapter 28 here on youtube, watch that then this chapter, it makes it all the more poignant.

  • x Domino my mum always used to say stuff like watch v try to watch v and I was like what are you on about but now we talk about it like geeks but v is so cool I watch the new series but ana Diana do they think where dum its also amazing that I cant pick between willy or Ryan cause willy is my middle name but Ryan is more ready for battle thanks for upload this series its amazing

  • We have to help. Or else we won't have learned a thing.

  • I feel that the scene starting at 1:25 is one of the most powerful scenes in the whole V mini-series, and one of the most powerful TV scenes from the 80's. It's known as the "Reading of Abraham's letter" and it can be applied to many real life situations that have happened throughout history, and that are going on right now around the world.

  • Whatever happened to the birthing scene? Is this the whole show?

  • that guy is the old man from OZ cool

  • @ayzaic which one?

  • the bald guy that got tortured by the V aliens.

  • @ayzaic rebadow i believe

  • read it you dumb bitch

  • I love Elias.

  • Daniel chose evil, and he paid the price.

  • this show is even better as an adult.

  • @longspear584 Agreed - more philosophical.Take it easy

  • That is a realy good scene!

  • Abraham Bernstein, Sancho the gardener, Elias, and of course Ham Tyler. Heroes on many levels.

  • this was a great series and this was one of my favorite scenes too

  • Why are people debating religion and who looks like what? It's just a tv mini series.

Fucking people here got nothing better to do. This was a great tv series. Nothing on tv now even come close to the greatness of this tv mini series

  • @Libertyguy09 art imitates life

  • Whats with all the none jews in this film looks like Chriswk never learned a thing about the human race and cruelty.

  • what are you talking about? Jews have to look a certain way

  • Think this is one of the most moving scenes I've ever seen in a film or tv show.

  • save my the tears

  • Man the Holocaust remebrance moments in this show were pure gold.

  • you racist?

  • a truly poignant scene..and top class acting from Bonnie Bartlett, reading out that letter in tears, tremendously moving...

  • they could torture him...

    but they couldnt break him

    hahahaha

  • Or we'll be pushing up the daisies as snake food - but meh - these are but a small thing in the larger picture.

  • True, so many truths in this series, and is happening around us and so many folk are asleep.

Listen to what Steve Quayle, David Icke and Alex Jones has to say, even Alex Collier. There are so much out there we need to know and tell each other about.

    Knowledge is power.

  • I love how the cowardly traitor is challenging peoples convictions.

  • if you know what happens to him at the very end, he redeems himself

  • is robert englund a main character in these shows or just certain episodes.

  • They killed Kathleen!..Because I told them where she was hiding.

  • again the old man had wise words left for his son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Even after he was gone, he still gave enough wisdom to help those in need. COOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mr. Abraham Bernstein's the man! Even when dead he is a spiritual force to be reckoned with...

  • @ni3ar Yep even to an Athiest, the fictitous Mr Abraham mirrors the reality of the struggle of 55million who died because of fascism. Those words could have come from Abe, FDR or JFK.

  • We have to help, or else we haven't learned a thing. God I love that line.

  • and Abraham would've died for nothing

  • The series shows the fight against fascism to be inclusive, the Mexican gardener, the cop, the black hood, the hotshot camerman, the good aliens, the amateur actress and lead by the medical student with assistance from the psychopathic Tyler. All very poignant

  • Basically the whole mini-series was about how to fight againsta Fascist Regime. It was dedicated to Freedom fighters everywhere. The Grandfather was a Holocaust Survivor.Science Fiction has always been used to comment on social issues. IT is a great scene

  • Is he asking for help after grassing on everyone else?

    Cheeky bastard!

  • I know! someone chop that turn coat's head off! lol

  • One of the greatest scenes in the whole mini series, its about the war in all of us. Its an emotional touching scene and its another scene that makes Abraham one of my favourite characters.

  • "More than anything you must always remember what side you are on and fight for it." Words to live by! Research 9/11 and wake up!

  • very emotional scene.

  • What do you mean buddy, it sounds like a WWII letter

  • the letter is not only about the war that is at hand but the war inside each and everyone of us

  • It's supposed to read like a WW2 letter because thats what the whole mini-series was about. Fighting against

    Fascism.

  • Fighting against occupation disguised in peaceful cloth!

If that's the meaning of Fascism so it's fine by me.

  • There will be no revolution - only enduring resistance, followed by the fall of tyranny, and the restoration of freedom.
