This has always been my favourite powerful scene from the original V. For anyone who hasn't seen the whole thing, check out chapter 28 here on youtube, watch that then this chapter, it makes it all the more poignant.
x Domino my mum always used to say stuff like watch v try to watch v and I was like what are you on about but now we talk about it like geeks but v is so cool I watch the new series but ana Diana do they think where dum its also amazing that I cant pick between willy or Ryan cause willy is my middle name but Ryan is more ready for battle thanks for upload this series its amazing
I feel that the scene starting at 1:25 is one of the most powerful scenes in the whole V mini-series, and one of the most powerful TV scenes from the 80's. It's known as the "Reading of Abraham's letter" and it can be applied to many real life situations that have happened throughout history, and that are going on right now around the world.
True, so many truths in this series, and is happening around us and so many folk are asleep.
Listen to what Steve Quayle, David Icke and Alex Jones has to say, even Alex Collier. There are so much out there we need to know and tell each other about.
again the old man had wise words left for his son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Even after he was gone, he still gave enough wisdom to help those in need. COOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ni3ar Yep even to an Athiest, the fictitous Mr Abraham mirrors the reality of the struggle of 55million who died because of fascism. Those words could have come from Abe, FDR or JFK.
The series shows the fight against fascism to be inclusive, the Mexican gardener, the cop, the black hood, the hotshot camerman, the good aliens, the amateur actress and lead by the medical student with assistance from the psychopathic Tyler. All very poignant
Basically the whole mini-series was about how to fight againsta Fascist Regime. It was dedicated to Freedom fighters everywhere. The Grandfather was a Holocaust Survivor.Science Fiction has always been used to comment on social issues. IT is a great scene

It's supposed to read like a WW2 letter because thats what the whole mini-series was about. Fighting against
Fascism.

Fighting against occupation disguised in peaceful cloth!
If that's the meaning of Fascism so it's fine by me.

There will be no revolution - only enduring resistance, followed by the fall of tyranny, and the restoration of freedom.
