nem0nic, I've seen your posts on forums and have watched a bunch of your Youtube videos. I really appreciate how patient and informative you are with your contributions. Man.. demoing sexy new DJ gear and helping out end users.. you have like the best job in the world. :)
@octap79 I've been DJing for 7 years and I can't wait to get my mitts on these babies. I can think of a zillion ways this controller can make specific tasks more accessible. Moving mechanical parts are an inefficient way to control software so kudos to Stanton for making this necessary leap.
@LogoMproductions i say that, id like you to suggest a midi controller thats supposedly better then the SC3 system, because when I was doing some research on this project, i found that this unit is clearly the best besides the big, expensive xone controller that i just forgot the name of.
Hey nem0nic, I want to purchase this unit and I tested it in a store. One thing I couldn't figure out was that this device connects to your computer by a USB cable and thats how you control it with Tracktor LE right? Now I wonder if I want to connect my computer to my speakers how the hell am I supposed to hear with my headphones? any solution to that?
I sorta dont like the whole touch pad revolution. The analog feel is much more easier to control. Plus its way cheaper, Who really cares about the bulk.
no it doesn't. It means faggots who think they can Dj can Dj, people who give though to what they are playing and lay down heavy tunes, well mixed can dj using these badboys!
@tripinbilly88 I'm excited about that. I don't have the money required to try it, and I'll never want to dj seriously, I produce, and intend to continue that. But for a hobby, why not?
whats the small screen? whats it doing and how is it connected?

I agree. I like midi, but you cant really brag about your DJ skills until you can handle real vinyl and old school cd players.

YEAH i DIDN'T SEE A HEADPHONES JACK... WHERE IS IT?? AND DO i NEED AN EXTERNAL SOUNDCARD FOR THIS??? LOOKS AWESOME, THX
djtavi77 2 years ago
No headphone jack on the controllers since they're only MIDI controllers. The headphone jack will be on your audio interface.

set up is real easy as Stanton give you the preset to map perfectly with traktor. It works out of the box.
CM205 2 years ago
How would you set these up together in traktor? I'm a bit confused. The deck has volume control and so does the mixer. o_O
