@benni5589 No, you can't do that with your golf 2 because FWD. Sure you can slide around corners but you won't have enough traction to keep the speed. I know it from my old FWD Audi...

@benni5589 Uhm... Man, i live in switzerland. I use them many times every winter and I sure know how to drive on snow ;)

Of course you can keep a certain amount of speed through the corner and go sideways (I love to do this with my old FWD Audi, by the way...) but even with snow chains you can't take a corner like a 4x4 car. Although the A3 isn't a "real" Quattro, it's just some sort of Haldex crap...
