is that a carbine length gas tube?
DPMS does offer an "A3" style upper receiver upgrade for $80 that lowers the receiver rail to a standard height. it also comes with a dust cover, forward assist, and brass deflector.
i am definitely looking at this gun for my next purchase. didn't know it came with a match barrel already though!! neat.
my lower in my AR-15 uses dpms parts. the trigger pull has lightened up a bit as it wore in and it doesn't bother me as much anymore FWIW.

@Timb0NZ This isn't an AR-15- the LR series rifles all have raised rails- handy for large objective scopes!

@Timb0NZ - Actually- I just noticed on my product sheet that there is a low rail offering- the LR-308L - I was mistaken!
