Listen to Norman Greenbaum's original version. Better still, listen to Spirit in the Sky arranged by Buddy .... Much, much better than this ... this is a little amateurish. Not polished.

@spongeb649 @Bubbajoe8605 @rachelpinkrox The album is the "Jesus: The Epic Mini-Series" soundtrack. Not the original score, (obviously) but the "music inspired by" album. This is the "Jesus" mini series that was originally on TV with Jeremy Sisto as Jesus.

@rachelpinkrox Yes you can convert it on any computer. 1 download realplayer install it. their are many videos on how to use it. 2 download freemake video converter , install it . both are free and simple to use . once both are installed just go the video you want on youtube and it should say "download to realplayer" above the video, click it. if it doesn't just right click on it and at the very bottom it will say download click it. after its done, the video should appear in your docs.

@rachelpinkrox after you find it open freemake video converter and put the video in it. click mp3 then convert. then put it on your ipod or whatever you got and enjoy the best band in the would! if you have any probs just ask me : )

@jordanhieber1 Ok well I downloaded both of the programs, but I still don't see any button that says "Download to realplayer". I'm also not sure what you mean by the "top" and the "bottom" of the video. If you could help me that'd be great. Thanks.

@rachelpinkrox no prob! just right click on the video as its playin and

the little menu will come up. at the bottom of that menu, it should say download to real player. If it does not say that. you probably downloaded the wrong version of realplayer. if it is the wrong version just tell me and I'll find the right one :)

@billyberrou: They didn't miss the point, they weren't spouting dogma. They just covered and actual main stream hit from a couple of years after the "summer of love", around the same time "Godspell" came out. They did a great job putting their CCR stamp on a classic.

First I heard of the DC Talk version of this song -- well done. I still like Norman Greenbaum's version best, but DC did the song justice with their remake.
