thank you for these videos I wish I had found them years ago. they are so clear and helpful. perhaps you could include some listening practice i.e. some long paragraphs of thai read fairly slowly as when in thailand people speak so fast that even when i listen carefully I cannot always catch the words? thank you so much. phil
Hi, me again. Your English is fine, better than fine (which prompts the question, 'Why'?). I got the feeling that was a tray of wooden fruit. And a question for you. When I eat paad si-u, I usually add some "prik nam-som". Is "nam som" the word for vinegar and is it spelled/pronounced differently from that of "orange"? Thanks for your help!
@kwhatten vinegar in Thai is "náam-sôm-săai-chuu", but in short we just call it ""náam-sôm" which is spelled and pronounced exactly the same as orange.
Kru Mod, is a truly gifted instructor. I have been working with her for a while now and couldn't be more pleased. I am studying via Skype from the US and have had the most professional and engaging experience with this talented teacher. She is very intrinsic in her abilities and I am very confident, if you are looking to expand your grasp of the Thai language she can provide a very pleasant experience for you as well.
ufff you have amazing tropical fruit over there...I love water melon...my favorite...

Isn't Chom puu the same for the word pink?
franalam 1 month ago
@franalam No they are not the same word, but they sound very close.
pink = chom-puu
rose apple = chom - puu (falling tone)

@shinobi2050
Hi Shinobi,
Thank you for your comment.
To answer your questions;
1. It is not a doctor coat, it is just a smart white jacket.
2. It is a tray of fruit - sorry for my English.
3. Thank you for watching :)
Please stay tune.
