Mitch's scream has matured into some of the harshest levels in the last several years, up there with seth putnam, john chang, Jason Pilgrim, Joe from Noisear, Jason from DFE, ect ect. ....he really needs a full time project that showcases his brutal screams....even that second Defecation album had digitized sounding vocals and doesn't do his voice justice.
Who knew...Mitch from Righteous Pigs would be famous one day....lol! Always was a cool guy, and man, he looks exactly the same as he did 20+ years ago!!!
Here's a tidbit for you....Alan Strong, who drummed for Righteous Pigs, played in a punk(ish) type band with the base player from Neon Trees (yeah, the pop band on the radio) back in the day, in Vegas. 6 degrees of separation....we're all connected
my favorite Antigama album is "DISCOMFORT" and the split with DERANGED INSANE who are another great band.....They kind of started to lose me after that.
omg that was awesome you met mitch!...i'm in the UK and ive met the guy's after show a couple of times briefly...but never like that lol..that was sweeeeet!..thanks for posting!
I grew up with Mitch. He was like the little brother i never had. Lost touch with him for almost 20 years but, he just called me last Sunday (after a Facebook contact). Had a lot of catching up to do. Seems like he's grown up now.
I met him once and he signed my DEFECATION Lp....I forgot to remove the 99 Cent price tag on the front cover and he asked "Did you really pay a dollar for this? That's so cool!"
