i remember this actual day, my mom always tuned in to watch oprah and we were living in canada and i remember so vividely when he sang this song and afther in the end of the show he sand the song "STOP TO LOVE" and Oprah was blushing and my mom was blushing and i remember cos she wore this red suit and i just saw this and i melted. I knw that somewhere in the world, the "Fat vs.skinny Luther" is going on. So, I'm going to add a bit to that argument now. This was very nice, and Skinny Luther did a very good job here, but Fat Luther sounds better singing this song to me. Fat Luther sounds more passionate singing it, and he hits all the vocal cues (or whatever he's suppose to be hitting) in it as well. Now, these are just my thoughts on the matter, so don't get too mad at me:)

To label Luther Vandross 'talented' is very misleading, Luther was more than 'talented', he was truly 'gifted', a first class act by every conceivable measure, a singers singer, IMHO the best singer of his generation, and more importantly, one of the greatest singers to walk on planet earth!
