I lov this song and movie. Chiwetel Ejiofor won a Golden Globe Nomination for the role of Lola in this movie Kinky Boots. He lost. The movie was so wonderful to watch, and yes Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets. I saw this movie on cable again the other day and had to watch it.

I love this movie - Lola is a lovely person. ^^ And Chiwetel Ejiofor is an amazing actor. The thing about this film is that it's so very human. XD I wish that the Kinky Boots factory was still there; I need to go to transvestite fetishist stores to buy 'smart' shoes now. Problem is, I'm 6' and have never worn high heels in my life and they all have killer stilettos.

If anyone thinks Lola is odd, check out Chiwetel Ejiofor on Google and you will be amazed at the films he has been in! Should have got an Oscar but the Americans did not have the stomach to aard such a prize to a Brit film. I think he won a Golden Globe though!

Oh please. It has nothing to do with it being a British film. The 2009 Oscars went to Kate Winslet for Best Actress & Christian Colson for Best Picture. Hello....see an Anti-British bias there still?

What it hardly EVER does is award Oscars to a comedy. Very, very few funny films from ANYWHERE are nominated, much less win.
