looked at the sun? what on earth for? are you under the impression that the LHC is a nuclear fission machine? umm... if you are; best advise, go & read the facts. you will be hard pressed to see CERN refer to the LHC as such or that our sun as place where such high energy collisions occur.. CERN used to claim that they occured within our atmosphere but since the maths & the evidence didn't stack up this has now been revised to Neutron stars.. pretty inhospitible places
