Project GreenBag is the sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags. 100% organic cotton, biodegradable, and made in San Francisco California.
To those making excuses for why you "need" plastic bags, Google "Pacific Garbage Patch". It's hard to let go of convenience, but our habits make a difference!
For people with infants who live in a place without shopping bags, how do you quickly take care of a Code Brown diaper? We use a plastic bag here. Tie it in a strong air-tight knot. Parents in SF must be suffering in the smell of filth.
In a similar vein, my brother and sister live in a place with mandatory recycle trash pick-up. They spend so much of their time every day handling their garbage. They wash their garbage, but still they have ants and flies. It is so gross.
We (as well as most of our friends) use washable cloth diapers and have water-sealed reusable/washable "Code Brown" bags that seal very well - no stink. It is much healthier for our baby (less diaper rash). We recycle and compost 90% of our waste. I have never had a problem with flies or ants in my recycling bin (we empty it twice per week). Our city picks up compost - since our compost bin under the sink seals well, our trash doesn't smell. Convenient, healthy and clean!
frankly this is sooo cool. I'm glad i'm not the only one with this idea, well not as a costume, but as a giant monster that like rises from the depths of a junkyard in a comic book lol. Hooray!
I'm doing a paper on banning the plastic bag and I was tickled to find this along with a link to the ChicoBags website. I can't wait to post it on my blog and start getting people's attention! :D
Don't trust that Bag Monster! Enjoy twisted laughs on the Bag Monster Buster blog and get the latest on Bag Monster sightings and the bag crisis.

We always keep reusable ChicoBags on us to fend off single-use bags that mutate into Bag Monsters, we eliminate Bag Monsters from under kitchen sinks and in drawers at home, and we support sensible bag laws that protect public health. Are you a Bag Monster Buster? Join the cause on FaceBook!
Look I'm famous! I'm the result of one year of single-use bag consumption: 500 bags. I lived under a kitchen sink in SF until they banned me in 2007! Now I've taken to lobbying for Bag Monster rights via my blog: BagMonster dot com. I'll also be appearing at the Ocean Film Festival in SF Feb 1-3 to show the "conservationists" who's boss!

I use plastic bags all the time, they have many uses. I don’t want a ban of plastic bags since paper is useless when it comes to your groceries.

Yeah, soon you'll grow up, move out of your parents' house, get a job and be ashamed of your former self.
