LOVE seeing dogs do what they were born to do. I love seeing them flatten out to avoid being kicked. My ex-girlfriend got a pure bred one from rescue but he was too much for her. High intelligence, tons of energy, and stubborn. IMHO people should not own these dogs unless you can work them, they should not be crated 10 hours a day while you are at work. Get another type dog.

@cat5fan I couldn't agree more! My husband farms while I work an office job so we're lucky enough that our new red heeler pup, Hoss gets to spend all day outside with my husband! I think he would go crazy if he was stuck inside all day!
