My mistake is mis spoke but my point is valid. Yes the democrats have had control for the last 2 years but becasue of the veto powers of the presidential office they can only halt republican bills, not pass their own. As per Obama, yes he essentially has powers similar to that of a dictator just as Bush did back when the republicans were in control. Dictatorship isnt bad in and of itself, its just a form of governance, what is done with that power determines whether it it right or wrong.

i know that Bush entered himself into the coast guard during the Vietnam war so he could escape the draft. but the only way u can get into the section he wanted to join was if u could adequately fly and land a plane (which Bush couldn't do) yet, he still mysteriously was let into the coast guard. i know that bush lied about the reason to go into Iraq...u have a lot to learn..i suggest putting down the game controller and do research on the man u think is a fine president.

Bush never was really the President. Who was? Karl Rove and Dick Cheney, Bush served the purpose of getting elected, because nobody in their right mind would elect either of those pricks. Those two assholes ran the White House and fucked up our economy, not Bush. Therefore, Bush has taken away none of my rights and it was actually the Cheney and Rove. Bush was not a bad president, in fact, Bush wasn't even the president. Cheney was, Cheney and Rove both controlled the White House, so in the end Bush won't be in power, one of them will be.
