hmmm they look like thermal winds,( the kind of winds one uses for gliding).

usually a forest or a body of water will create a downdraft, while surfaces like asphalt and earth/dirt will create updrafts. you can get updrafts while going underneath the cumulus clouds. you can see the effects of different surfaces underneath on the lift of the right or left wing

how you get full HD over the entire image? what resolution do you have? what program do you make movie in? nice movie!

Not sure what you mean by HD over the entire image, it is that way straight off the camcorder. The resolution is 1280x720 (720p HD at 30fps). I use Corel VideoStudio 12 for the editing, every other program that I demo'd was horrible at HD editing. Quite a bit of quality is lost during the editing/exporting, but it still looks pretty good.
