It's definitely got something to do with the judges. Only one of the originals is remaining, the fair one. The other two are too nice...it's like having 2 Paula's and no Simon. Also, 1 season of Idol was awesome because it was a way to discover new music. Now, you can just come on YouTube if you want to hear a decent cover. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are the only real stars that came out of Idol.

I just started watching American Idol these past two seasons with the new judges because I didn't like Simon and Paula because Paula was annoying and Simon was an ass but I really like the new judges and I like the way these auditions are going.

I did watch some of idol last night but it's getting old & there's alot of better shows out now like AGT & The Voice Idol isn't as good as when simon & paula was judging I mean J-lo is not so bad as a judge & it's good that randy is still there but i don't like steven as a judge so Idol is really crap now & overrated also & the X factor sucks honestly I don't like that show my fave show is the voice it only focuses on singing not looks which is what the rest of the shows look at the most

@razorcrush12 yeah right after Pia Toscano got eliminated I stopped watching the entire season. Stupid teeny booper fans voting on Lauren & Scotty(esp. Lauren...she was the WORST performer during that week and she got saved).
