hey all you homeschoolers ever heard of a joke...well this a is just playing around....hey i am homeschooled as well and i don't get offended. ya'll shouldn't either!
This distinction (story) is difficult to pull off (I've tried myself). Good attempt.
The use of a tripod (or even a chair) would have made the alarm clock sequence much better.
I would have liked to see more of the people and their interactions rather than events. Because the events were the focus, it felt rushed and yet dragged at the same time.
Keep working on telling stories in film. You're getting there! -Luke
This is in no way insulting. In fact, it's pretty true. When I was homeschooled, I wouldn't go to sleep untill about 12am, and I would wake up at about 12pm or 1ish. Then I'd do about an hour of work and be done with school for the day. It was fun. And I would stay in my pj's too. It may seem lazy, but homeschoolers are usually smarter than public schoolers(and I only say that b/c I now go to public school) and are more involed in sports and outdoorsy stuff.

I realize that. I completely exhagerated in the film just as a joke. I am homeschooled myself. I personally start school at 7 am and sometimes even have to work into the evening if i am behind or did not get enough done during the day. This was not supposed to be a serious portrayal of what homeschooling is like.
A slightly negative view of homeschoolers in that they are portrayed as lazy and unmotivated. I think sleeping in until almost 10 is somewhat of a misnomer. Mine are not allowed to sleep nearly that late, or they will be doing their schoolwork late in the afternoon as well!!!
Unfortunately, to me, it came across that the homeschooler didn't have to do any work and the highschooler is the hard working, sleep deprived individual. I didn't get the humour between the two, sorry. I think it could be there, but just didn't come across the way I think you intended.
In a comedic way i am trying to say that being homeschooled is more fun than going to public school. I am not at all trying to insult public schoolers.

The idea is that the homeschooler completes their work before the highschooler gets home.
