@onitaro It's really not trying to be an exact copy of the cartoon either. It's played a LOT more for laughs. Hell, there's even a scene where Mojo and the girls are both getting tired out mid-fight, so they all call time-out and go get ice cream.

And then for some strange reason the Professor, the kid, and the Mayor all get ice cream too.

And... don't even get me started on where the Z in PPGZ comes from. XD

@2speedie2 Cause it's meant to be the last one of the series, since Z was the last word. The manga stops at Dragon Ball Z, and was thus, officially the last of the Dragon Ball manga. So maybe in a similar sense, this was the last of the powerpuff series. (Dragon Ball GT was not based off of the Dragon Ball manga.)

The Z is to signify how they got their powers.
