  • what faith he had to do the work of God for as lung as he did.

    thanks for the video.

  • the only problem with this video is the distance isn't 22 miles - more like 35 miles.

  • he is amazing one of a kind faithful and hard working towards GOD's work here on earth. he is a good example of being true to the faith. thanks for the inspiration.

  • Are men just not that strong in today's world? ... This man was an angel and a hero. We've become soft

  • @munke2112 the strong are still here,i am no angel or hero but i am a teacher of [ in hardship lies strenth]and in faith lies hope.

  • This man was my great-great-great grandfather. I'm not LDS, but I'm very proud of my heritage :)

  • Could you please look at the credits and find out who was in charge of the music? I would really really like to have the songs from this movie!

  • i cried T_T...especially when he got his leg amputated and he still went to work, so beutiful, especially the sow mo walks and the sunrise parts where he walks in front of the sun.

  • thankyou! what a wonderful story of a humble, dedicated and true servant of the lord.

i just wondered why noone in the church could help put him up closer to the temple.

so he could do his work during the week.

i know that gods church is- the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. to those who get angry that i and others know this, i ask you to humble yourselves get on your knees and sincerely ask!! if god can hear your prayers and he will answer them. .

  • "I married well my love, you are brilliant"

    LOL

  • A man of honour and a heart full of gratitude for the Saviour. 0:26 "I married well my Love, you are brilliant." 2:55 HIs son calls out and shouts "I love you Father!" I hope I am able to inprint on the hearts of my children Holiness to the Lord and I too will be blessed like the Stonecutter.

  • Joseph Smith taught: "It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the Character of God. . . . He was once a man like us; . . . God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did" (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, sel. Joseph Fielding Smith [1976], 345-46)..

So, God was once a man...which means there was another God before him..acording to the LDS website...this is pure BS and NOT Biblical..shame on them

  • @IloveChrist2 So the way is Jesus Christ, right?

  • @IloveChrist2 It is interesting to me that when people get frustrated in these debates, they invariably revert to profanity and name calling. You're welcome to your views but using profanity only undermines you in the eyes of others. The Book of Mormon is ANOTHER testament of Jesus Christ and His divinity. It is the most correct book in the world because it hasn't been corrupted through hundreds of translations and interpretations. Ordinances have been a part of Christianity from the beginning.

  • @vivilitigers profanity??? Frustrated??? All I did was quote from the LDS website..I think your the one that is frustrated in all the LIES that your MORMON church has been feeding you...wake up and smell reality...not the reality that YOU have been feed by MEN. Get a clue.

  • @IloveChrist2 It took me over 30 years of study, prayer and fasting to obtain my testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It didn't happen overnight, so I'm not brainwashed, I found it out for myself. I encourage you to do the same and study it again with an open mind, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern. As someone said: To the believer, no explanation is necessary; to the unbeliever, no explanation is enough. I hope you find peace. God bless.

  • @IloveChrist2 you can go to your bed and sleep. whether you think you are right or wrong, you are right... Are you insecure that we know the truth and you don't? study books my friend, don't just read them...

  • @IloveChrist2 you can go to your bed and sleep. whether you think you are right or wrong, you are right... Are you insecure that we know the truth and you don't? study books my friend, don't just read them...

  • @vivilitigers You mean the Book of Mormon is the most CORRECTED book...haa..that I do agree wtih..I guess God doesnt know very much about grammer, spelling or the removal and replacement of entire paragraphs...yes .the Book of Mormon has all those changes......wow..what a brainwashed tool..

  • @lonskieg Here is an example of why the Mormons are NOT Christians:

    From their website:

    Becoming a God:-

They will have everything that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have--all power, glory, dominion, and knowledge.

This is what the Bible Says:

Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me

  • @IloveChrist2 I said what is the way?

  • @IloveChrist2 I LOVE CHRIST is your name? I felt sorry of your judgment my friend...Are you God? who can judge? you are so funny.....

  • The faith of the man shown in video moved him to do what he has done, it his love and faith on the Savior that made him do this work, I know that he is already enjoying the benifits.

  • I'm confused by this video, its beautiful, but when did he spend time with his children and his wife? How did he leave at 2 if he only got home at midnight?

  • Omolio, why do you respond to people like that? You know they are the ones mocking from that building. Take Christ's lead and offer him no response. Should he come to you in the future with real intent, then offer him the pearls of great price, until then, ignore the comments that are meant to provoke you.

  • @Mixox22 We are taught to turn the other cheek aren't we? Good words of advice. We can help people come to the fullness of the gospel a lot better if we are more like Jesus. Patient, long suffering, kind. And willing to endure trials just like the early saints did crossing the plains.

  • Perhaps the most essential distinction between the LDS faith and other forms of Christianity is its epistemology regarding the sources of knowledge of the divine. Most Christians believe that the scriptural canon—the authoritative collection of sacred books used as scriptures—is closed because God closed it shortly after the death of Christ and there have been no comparable revelations since that time. Joseph Smith taught and demonstrated that the scriptural canon is open.

  • The continuing possibility of direct revelations from God gives believers of the LDS Church two authoritative sources for spiritual truth: the continually growing canon of religious scripture and the personal discovery of spiritual truth through communion with the Holy Ghost. As a source of sacred teaching, the scriptures are not the ultimate but the penultimate. The ultimate knowledge comes by personal revelation through the Holy Ghost.

  • "I just tell them who I really am," said Gordon K., which disappointed some.

Since President Hinckley's death, communication about him for the other Gordon Hinckleys has virtually stopped. But it's not gone.

When he was introduced after the prophet's death, Gordon K. said surprised people "looked at me funny (and said): 'I thought you died.'

  • A building dedicated to Satan. The Mormons should tear that eye sore down and build a homeless shelter ratther then a place to worship the DEAD. Stupid Cult-

  • It's a place where scholars write about things that appeal to the LDS community, and share insights from their disciplines through the lens of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Welch said.

But it's not stuffy or difficult to read, he added.

"This is not just of the BYU, for the BYU," he said. "This is for everybody who has an interest in really thoughtful, rigorous Mormon scholarship."

  • @omioasss, Mormon scholarship?? Why would you need it if it was true? Of course the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smth was and is a fraud. The entire world knows it...

  • EVERYTIME I see your username I quiver. The name of Christ is sacred.

STOP trying to use Christ for your own devilish purposes!

  • @omilo, everytime I see your name I think of some 12yr old with too much time on his hand Really, you should stop trying to defend Joseph Smith and worship Jesus Christ. Shame on you Omiolo...oh wait...your only 12...

  • I will defend the servants of Jesus Christ.

You need to learn how to accept ALL that Jesus Christ has given us!

  • @IloveChrist2 Hi believer friend, hey did you know us as Mormons, but did you know that we belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints? The Church from WHO? I invite you to check our articles of Faith, is a small but powerful compilation of the things that we believe, Check It and then you can say whit all your words filled with truth to Whom is directed all our worship.

  • @PhabelS, 3rd article is NOT Biblical and is blastphame:

We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances.

Your Mormon church is a fraud. I am Christian, which means I belive in the word of God, the bible

We are saved by Grace and that alone. I believe in Jesus Christ. That is it.

I do not have to be obiedent (sinless), because is impossible. Ordiances? WTF?

Where does it say I need to obey ordiances in order to be saved?

  • @IloveChrist2 In school the teachers teaches us to open the door of opportunity for us, but it is for us to enter. Christ opened the door for us, but we need to show our faith and love for Him.

  • @lonskieg Then you have NOT read the Bilble..that is NOT what Christ has said...Your a fool to think otherwise and do not respect what Christ did on the Cross. Stop listening to a man and start thinking and reading the ONLY word of God..the Bible.

  • @IloveChrist2 That is right. I am a fool to talk of spiritual matters when I myself needs to do what has been written. If mormons are wrong then what is the way?

  • @PhabelS I did check out your so called ariticles of faith, they are unsightly in the eyes of God. You believe in a man named Joseph Smith, the same fraud that look into a hat at a stone and said that God translated the Golden Plates...well there are over 3000 errors/changes since the first edition of this Book of Mormon...I guess God, is a bad speller and has poor grammer and like to change lots of paragraphs...what a joke Mormonis is..WAKE UP

  • His story makes our personal struggles seem weightless

  • Comment removed

  • Never mind....I found it at DeseretBooks online.

  • Does anyone know where I can order this movie?

  • great story and a great example of how we should always trust in the Lord.

  • Shivers and tears, tears of gratitude. I've had the opportunity to see the temple a few times, but now there will be more to look at. Perhaps I'll see his marks some day.

  • Alma 26:12 - "Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever."

  • Yes! Excellent!

  • I wish I could share this with the whole world...a beautiful example of service and committment to the Lord, his family, and being true to who he felt he was. Today we stil can see his work on the outside of the beautiful temple. He earned respect by his actions, and today has a legacy that is a testimony to all that are committed to serving God and building his kingdom here on earth. Thank you for sharing this!

  • It shows us how much the Spirit will help us as we do the things of God.

  • he really magnify his calling

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • AN AMAZING MAN.

  • Excelent video!

  • I would love to see this movie lds forever

  • So beatiful! I love that glorious temple. Those words will stay there forever! What an amazing man to continue to do the work set forth for him! Such strength you could only do if you truely believed in what you are doing. Thank you for this! *5*
