  • gotta be one of the strongest medleys ever, nice flow, just keeps building. The set reminds me of Elvis's jailhouse rock.

  • Watch the man behind at 5:28. LOL

  • they were known only in UK in that time if I remember

  • @ptibo1 I'm sorry but you're wrong there. They had gotten their big breakthrough in America a few months before this show was broadcasted.

  • This was from an British ITV special called "Around the Beatles" taped in April 1964. It looks live but they're actually lip-syncing to a specially recorded audio track. Somewhere there exists a clean copy (without screams) of that session, we can hope.

  • @mikeu08540 yeah i hope lol but ringo's drumming is real??? cause clearly he is banging away?

  • @nightcrawler511 He's really drumming, and they're all really playing and singing, but they're doing it to a prerecorded track. They do TV like that a lot, especially in the 1960's.

  • @mikeu08540 on the ed sulliven they didnt right, everything was really played?

  • @nightcrawler511 Yeah, I think the early Sullivan appearances were all live performances.

  • thanks beatles!

  • Oh go Fabs! Where the hell did this come from??

  • An exciting medley with unexpected twists and turns!

  • This is awesome!
