  • im playing this in jazz band and i was wondering if anyone could give me tips on how 2 try 2 reach that upper register? please help

  • If i might ask, how often do you practice? As in, how man hours a day?

  • @TitanticFAIL Usually between 3-4 hours per day currently. But when this video was made, it was more like an hour a day. It's really cool looking back at this 3 yr. old video -- especially after just sitting in with Tower of Power in concert last month!! The video is linked to the video above!!

  • Wow, listen to the kid! He sounds great!

  • He is now my trumpet teacher too, and he plays with my, well not MY, jazz band almost every morning. He plays the trombone

  • He was great in high school that I do remember. I went to Mission San Jose High in 1967 through 1969 before he was with Tower of Power. Mic and Judy would hang out with us at the park back in 1967-1968. Not surprsing that he is so famous now.
