Which CC trim level did you get? The thing that frustrates me about that car is that its so good looking, but you can't get a manual transmission with AWD. Also, you pay a premium for the AWD model. It's such a great looking car. It's way too good lucking for FWD.

I reckon you should of kept the solstice as a collectors, and bought another car on the side for every day use.

You would of taken the solstice out once a week/fortnight/ or month, to keep the miles low on it and you could of sold it for much more like 5 to 10 yrs down the track.

I wouldnt have gotten the Solstice in the first place. Also i wouldnt get a CC personally. I prefer something with a bit more "oomph" maybe something like a entry BMW or the VW GTI. Maybe even something like a SS Chevrolet from 2006-2007 Monte or something. But the CC isnt bad, much better than the soltice i agree with the change. Happy Holidays!

I agree with you D, the CC is a cool looking car. But the GXP win could of been a huge loss.Since Pontiac is basically gone and GXP models were being sold as much as $10k over sticker price by dealers. Your solstice could of double its value in the next 5 years if you kept it in excellent condition. There are hundreds of loaded Pontiac collectors out there who would always make awesome offers.. But you prob need an everyday car so this would of worked out for you best. I would of kept the GPX

Tire Rack conducted a recent test that pitted Winter Tires versus All Season tires, and guess what, All Season tires are just a tad better than Summer tires. There is no such thing as a jack of all trades.

No dissing about the car, Derek, you live in a whole different culture than I, maybe that kind of car is cool there (look at the Caddys and big Chevys) but I am more of a small, great handling kind of car guy.

Also, electric handbrake sucks, no drifting allowed.

P.S. the proper way to murder out a car is to tint the windows first then put black rims WITH A LIP second......rims must exceed 20" to ensure the gap between the tire and the wheel well is completely filled and tires must be low profile unlike the swap truck tires you have and finally suspension upgraded for proper driving dynamics....clearly someone's trying to keep their warranty which voids the sense in customizing a vehicle in the first place..1moGin If you can't customize it right leave it

The CC is one of the nicest and highest quality german cars made for under 100k. 3. the wheels are porportionate because in NY, having large wheels is asking to be curbed, or carjacked. His car is sensible yet cool, and really, not everyone may want or need a camaro (I do!!). Overall, I support his choice.
