When i look back at this particular ESC I kinda ask myself "why i never liked any single song out of it?". Too poppy too much uptempo lack of diversity in styles and lack of depth in the melodies and songs in overall. Nothing was impressive nothing was appealing to me. In comparasion with what was done before this was not evolution ... was just having no seriousness at all. Then I realized after some years that this "trash" is what Eurovoters and eurofans always aimed for and wanted it.

Israel: joke! Netherlands: too corny club number! UK: shameful and too 80s! Estonia: well ... abba-esque! France: forgettable! Romania: forgetable too! Malta: they hava done better that this piece of crap before! Norway: the song could have been cool .. terrible chorus and 3 untalented singers! Russia: too britney for my taste! Belgium: oldfashioned sorry! Cyprus: have done better! Iceland: corny! Spain: forgettable and worse than 1992 Denmark: the only that kinda stands out but for me argh!

Germany: Steffan was lucky having not been acused of copying bits of the spiece girls ... in overall too comical for a 5th place! Swisterland: boring! Croatia: boring too! Sweden: ummm it's okey not spetacular but OK! Macedonia: what a disasterous performance! Finland: too out-of-sync with the whole show and bad vocal performance! Latvia: original but not for my taste! Turkey: they never get tired of themselves ... it finally worked in 1997 so let's copy paste the same shit!

Ireland: another irish ballad? what for? corny lyrics and nothing comparable to Marc Roberts or Johny Logan. Austria: the mature version of Norway? Jesus ... what a nightmare!

In overall: i don't see anything musicallywise throughout this contests thatr really wowed like it happened in years before and no growth and no depth in the songs which chocked me! We're in 2010 .. it's still like that ... And surprisingly that's how most of the people love and enjoy this show these days!

@Fabian81 Eurovision has evolved perfectly fine..There are songs that fit every taste imo (except those who are too negative against esc for snobbish reasons..)

People enjoy this show cause there are good songs over the years and not everything is "trash"..

If one is only willing to see only "Be my valentine" in esc or "Dancing lasha tumbai" and ignore masterpieces like "Randajad" or "Oro" or even "Fly on the wings of love" in its kind then that's too picky to characterize a whole event sorry

Nope, Charlotte did not perform at all in this esc final. But she did perform in the danish final with her winning song from 1999 - so in a way she did pass the victory on to the Olsen Brothers - just 3 months in advance.. ,o)

ESC 2000 was fantastic and took the competition to a new higher level. So many songs that could have won any other year.

Estonia, Denmark, Rumania, Latvia, Norway, Russia, Sweden were all great songs, and there was many more "kinda good" songs.

Sweden has been wonderful in many years with their songs, ABBA is a true legend. Normally I vote for Sweden because I shake my head to most of the songs Denmark brings into the contest...but THAT YEAR, Denmark had the most beautiful song of them all, there was and is no doubt about it :)
