  • ahh, the times when much music was really about music - good music, what happened? (palm to face)

  • @TheBoreeed97 Should be palm to MuchMusic's face!! or the back of the hand...!! I missed you in St. Catherines Hugh, we need another reunion show, soon!!!

  • of course Nickleback sucks they are totally corporate rock band released by record execs, it's like they parts of so many popular bands and made Nickleback; a long haired bearded face five piece rock band that play what sound like heavy songs at first but then when you stop to listen to the lyrics your realize that they are not really saying anything at all. By that i mean nothing thought provoking nothing inspiring everybodys take on the song is exactly the same.

  • seen them 2 times kick ass

  • Toronto and Peterbough 2011

  • Thats a catchy little bass riff thats all it takes is a little melody thats memorable to make a good song :)

  • Wish I'd seen these guys live...they must've been awesome... but, oh well, too young.

  • the headstones were awesome i saw them 13 times live too bad they moved on oh well better to burn out than fade away

  • Headstones make me Proud to be Canadian!!!

  • That bass riff is kinda cool. I didn't know they were Canadian.

  • As an american I have to say that this is some friggen good shit. My roommate in college introduced me to this and I have been hooked on the headstones since 95. By far the best rock band to come out in ages. Holy shit Canada has the best rock ever.

  • The real cool thing is that Hugh Dillon also have a huge role in L4D 2, one of the best games in the whole world. Man, it was really fuckin cool to see him in this video as well :P fucking awesome song

  • Hi again. :3

  • saw these guys at the Buffalo Nickel lounge. Maybe 100-150 people crammed in. He could spit on the celing. IN YOUR FACE ROCK 'N ROLL!! I'll be there for the reunion... whenever that happens!

  • @akarathrace They're getting back together for 2 shows..... one in St Catharines ON not very far from Buffalo... Feb 3 2011

  • This would have been cutting edge in 1994. Oddly enough, I was looking for the Canadian band The Watchmen, circa 1994...

  • Never got to see Headstones unfortunately. But I saw the Watchmen one night in Halifax. Weeping Tile (Sarah Harmer opened). Though I love Watchmen albums, the show was terrible. Weeping Tile was the highlite of the show.

  • love the bass line

  • If they played these guys more for the obligatory canadian content required on our stations ( enough endless Rush music ! ) they would be bigger then nickleback!

  • The Headstones have more of a veriety of sound and beat , Nickleback is too redundent , every song sounds the same , The Headstones are the best ! Nickleback sux !

  • Amen brother.

  • i disagree the hip made more variety then the headstones oh and btw rust is the best not the head stones the hip or nickelback, but all are awsome

  • @chrissept21 I agree that the hip had more variety but not as much anger which is something I enjoy in the Headstone's music.

  • @wantedbythefbi oh plesae dont go bashing other bands. Till you've personally produced better your opinion will never quite influence anyone and thus will never be a fact, but just a simple opinion.

  • they'd be a nice change from Nickelback, too! I still enjoy Rush, but there's definitely room for the Headstones in the mandatory 35% CANCON requirement!

  • @daaf63 Well the rules in Canada for the radio are much more lenient than in America. They obviously chose to write their songs like this back then.

  • Damn I remember seing these guys in a shitty little converted theatre in Buffalo called the Showplace.. Hugh wreaked of BO and booze.. but they put on a hell of a damn good show. Think 5440(another good canadian band).. opened up for them.

  • So different to see him now acting, now that he has the tv show Flashpoint.

  • Fuck me !!!!!!!!!!! I never even noticed, now that you said that..........damn, thats awesome!!

  • He's also in the Trailer Park Boys movie and in the Canadian mini-series Dunham County

  • he was also great in Dance Me Outside & Hard Core Logo

  • yeah ppl forget about those grrrrrrrrreat roles!

  • was lucky enough to see these guys under a tent in 1993 at Willeypalooza. Small show, abour a 1000 at the show. About 200 Canadian light infantry dudes. Hugh Dylan, the showman he is made, sure to spit on the crowd and grab a couple boobs stage front in usual style. Thanks to Al and Jeremy for one of the best drunks of my life. Oh the memories, by the way, those are Canadian beers, not watered down stuff. I used to practice alot back then.

  • 0:08 > love it :)

  • the last of a dying breed REAL canuck rock now we have nickleback what a joke. I miss hugh and the boys they put on a good show live.

  • One of the best songs I have ever heard. I have been a fan since the first album.

  • That base line intro was written when tim was 17.

    wow

  • Can someone please upload

    Teeth & Tissue

    Marigold (Million Days in May)

    Losin' Control

I am Australian, & I was enough to see the Headstones live. They are truly the most underrated band on the planet! Few bands rock as hard as they do.Few bands can put on a show like they can.Totally awesome. If I lived in Canada, I would be at every show possible. Ya gotta love Hugh! Let there be Rock... Let there be The Headstones!

  • I wish there was a proper video for tweeter and the monkey man on here. A truly under rated canadian band, they rock and rock hard

  • Somebody give me some other clips.

    Let it go

    Swinging Burning

  • Man, that was awesome. Been awhile. The Headstones were one of the greatest bands ever. And Hugh...what can I say...love that man to death.

    thanks for posting

  • love hugh

  • Nobody upped "Judy" on here? That was another good one that needs to go up here.

  • I met Hugh in Grande Prairie ab after a show kick ass guy took some pics had a beer awsome live band got too see them twice good times!!!!

  • great song but whats with all the garbage lining the bottom and right side of the frame. Muchmusic SUCKS!!!

  • Much more music

  • hey at least they're playing a video. That's something that's becoming rarer and rarer on those channels

  • Coolest frontman EVER, period.

  • I cover Unsound & Tweeter check em out sometime. Rockin band!!!

  • We had opened for the Headstones a few times...was a blast cept Trent is kinda an ignorant cunt... bout time someone posted some Headstones on here though!!!

  • I can't belive that when i was little my parents and me and my brother went to a bbq at a friends house and they were there O___O my parents went to school with them, well... my dad did, anyways it feels weird to say i knew them personally.... X.X i was too little....

  • why isn't there a link to hardcore logo.

i ended up in banff a day after they played. i was angry. nobody got hurt but still i missed out on one of the best bands in Canadian history. Ampatheatre please

  • How old are we getting, this song used to be on Muchmusic, now its on Muchmoremusic oh boy...

  • Classic Hugh story.Saw in S'toon with a band from Van (Sho-Core)got talking to the Headstones crew later that night, my buddy casually mentioned that Sho-Core blew the H'stones off the stage (which, incidentally was the case that night). About 15min later a noticably mad Hugh comes out looking for "The assholes who thought the opening band was better!" We ducked out and hit up the hot dog vendor! Can you imagine Dave Mustaine personally seeking out every person who slagged his band at a show?

  • I saw them many years ago at the Forum (Ontario Place) opening for Tea Party and after I heard their "Tweeter and the Monkey Man" I never looked back. Though Hugh softened over the years (no more spitting at the audience) he still rocked.

  • First of all, Canadian punk bands our way cooler than ours... second of all, this is the greatest fucking band ever.Yay!

  • I miss Headstones tooo!!! The drummer used to play at jam nights at a bar I used to go to....hes right cool!!!! I miss him too...lol

  • Hadn't heard this song or seen the vid in ages - thanks so much for posting and keeping me homesick - can't wait to be back in CANADA!

  • >>I think we need a reunion tour :D

I'm a firm believer that we'll see them back together someday.

  • ya put up some more vids!! as soon as i get my cam back i have a live video that i shot and will post it

  • finally some HEADSTONES vids. keep em comin.

  • They're the best

  • these guys still get regular rotation in my cd players/playlists. Miss them a lot.

  • I think we need a reunion tour :D
