  • lmao "no one can see ya give a good old scratch, ANYWAY... digressing"

  • What turn tables do you use?

  • Professor, you are a sick instructor! You have, by farr, the most detailed informative videos on the Net. Keep teaching my friend, keep teaching.

  • ellaskins - is the man! thank you brother!

  • he was a lot more serious in his old videos

  • That is one mental set up. Is that in your bedroom? Lol if it is. That would be sick.

  • The word break no longer makes sense to me.

  • There's no 10:49

  • chu chigga chea chu chu chigga chea

  • your tutorials are very good. thank you!

  • duku duku cha duku duku cha duku duku cha!

  • @ellaskins

"Or you could get hit by a..bus!"

  • Break is a DnB artist.

  • Could somebody tell me the names of the two tracks? I'm German and I can't get what he says!

  • that mixer makes me wet

  • F busses

  • Its an awesome contribution to a video if there are jokes in it. But dont get to caried away with them it since it makes the video slow to watch and it also makes you kind of annoying. Just some feedback... Your tutorials are still great!

  • that wasn't a runny nose lol

  • Yo man, I wish you were one of my teachers at school.

  • omg new camera!!!

  • happy new year sir... thanks for the tutorial it is really great..just one question could you just write down the tracks for me please...thanks..

  • No one can see you having a good old scratch buahahhhaahh :D

  • REALLY GOOD VID!! THANKS MY FRIEND!!

  • Happy new year, with a lot of praticing:)

  • Good work with that video, pretty sure plenty of people will find it of use

  • Another thing. I hate being a smartass but, just saying. (or copy pasting) :)

"Breakbeat (sometimes breakbeats or breaks) is a term used to describe a collection of sub-genres of electronic music, usually characterized by the use of a non-straightened 4/4 drum pattern (as opposed to the steady beat of house)." -Wikipeida

So, actually Breakbeat is the real name of the genre. I'm just saying so people won't get confused the name of it.

  • @Apapilootoe Read your own copy paste haha. Breakbeat is not a genre, it's a term used to describe a configuration of drum rythms.

  • @nemesis4go10 "is a term used to describe a collection of sub-genres"

So, it is a genre. Read again:

"a collection of -->sub-genres<--" (I don't want to do the caps lock thing so I do the arrow thing)

  • @Apapilootoe A term that describes a collection of sub-genres is not a genre. A collection of sub-genres doesn´t transform automatically into a genre. Think about it. It´s like saying that ¨music with guitar¨ is a genre. I´m not into the whole genre and music lableing thing anyway, just wanted to clarify you misconception about your copypaste. Cheers. :)

  • @nemesis4go10 Just stop it right here. Just PM me.

  • Another helpful tutorial. Thanks. :)

  • You're a hero. Love ya Brother.

  • make a tutorial on how to dj by ear? a lot of djs these days use serato

  • @TheRealDJLukie i believe he has if you go to some of his first ever vids

  • @TheRealDJLukie The exactly same thing applies for serato, traktor, virual dj, etc. Why would it be different? And on any case you are DJing by ear, using Serato, CDjs, Vinyls, Cassets, DAWs, non linear DAWs, internal and external mixing etc.

  • I love your mouth drumming.

  • 00:21

  • You are such a dork. Love these videos. Never stop!

  • hey could you give us a track list

  • Does the key of a song really matter that much when mixing?

  • @265CoJ Yes, It helps the keep the flow of a song and when mixing makes it so much easier to transitions, you kind of let the music mix itself.

  • @265CoJ FOR SURE!

  • Thanks for introducing me to a new type of music! your vids have really helped me advance as a DJ

  • @ellaskins Niiiiice you answered my exact question from the last video, about knowing when to start counting. Thanks, I know you had already answered it but still.
