I love this scene and their relationship altogether. It's cute beyond words even though they're not lovers, it's a very beautiful friendship they share. Funny how Lindsay goes like "Who would've thought? You and me, parents?" and later when she goes with Brian to try and get Gus into a school, she says that when they first met, she thought that "this" (married with a kid) could've been the reality :)
Here's what I got out of it. I'm all for Brian/Justin. But Brian and Lindsay are closer than best friends, they're practically soul mates. To me, a soul mate doesn't have to be a romantic thing, they can just be closer then even a best friend. Lindsay was Brian's soulmate and Justin was Brian's true love. I only say this because one of my best friends is gay and we're how Brian and Lindsay are, close but we know we'll always fall in love with someone else but we're eachother's soulmate. :)
@Arthikaj Yeah, lol. I also recall him telling "You look hot, I'd fuck you" to Daphne at her prom, I'm like christ Brian, don't say that to the ladies when you're gay, 'cause we'd so fuck you too @.@
I love how they call each other "Wendy" and "Peter" as in the fairytale of Peter Pan... And they actually pretty much end up like that too. Peter will stay in the Neverland, forever young... And Wendy grew up and raised a happy family somewhere else. Both'll be happy that way, and they still love each other, even if theyäre apart.
I guess this whole conversation feels so adorable because they DO love each other! Sometimes... let me rephrase that, if you are lucky enough, you get to experience unconditional love for another person just as lovers do... but leaving out the sex thing... and when that happens you know you found the love of your life... even if you end up loving and marrying someone else.
aww so sweet! how comes i find it sweeter cus they're both gay, maybe cus its not a sexual huggling.. like if they were playing straight characters it would be sweet, but not as much
I love that Brian can be himself with Lindsay, and even if he doesn't show it, he does take what she has to say to heart. Their friendship is truly lovely, especially now that they share a child...I love how Lindsay makes sure in the beginning that Brian shows Gus some attention :)

This is actually one of my favorite scenes of the whole series. It's very sweet. =] Their relationship is one of my favorites, too.
