yes i wouldnt recomend spray painting it with clear coat while its still together. it wouldnt look as nice and might ruin your controller.

@xbeafy1 i wouldnt use it because it might get a bit sticky, it might not work with the serious handling its gonna have to deal with, and it isnt as smooth so youll feell ridges etc.

@Danimation14 thats what the clear coat enamel is for it keeps the colors locked in place and also gives a glossy look so yes when you are done with the sharpie you spray over with the enamel

you take the shell of with a TOrque 8 screw driver and use a can of spray on clear coat from krylon or any other paint mpany. Follow the EXACT instructions on the can tho.
