@ThunderGateFilms There is an overlay option that you can use. That will run two videos at the same time. It is under the video track, that is where you would add your media.

@Britainyallen Do you have the most recent version of VideoPad? There should be an overlay option under the "Video Track" area on the bottom left side of your screen. If there is not you may have a bug with the program. You can uninstall and reinstall to try to fix the issue.

@LamontTheBoss I looked through a lot of them and none of them support the .vpj file, but in the actual Video Editing program it has an option to save the file as an mp4 or whatever else you want. It's an amazing program.

@LimaHuntley If you select the "Save Video" button you can save the video in any format you want. It will let you upload the video directly to YouTube as well.

@MrGeneralComments There are times that the preview panel will not show the kind of quality your movie is. If you make your edits and burn your movie to another media it will show up clear.

@In2thevast1975 The program was recently redesigned with a new interface. You can add overlay by going to the Overlay Track area on the left-hand side of the screen and select the + button. The changes will apply automatically.

@karenagenaruiz29 You can save the audio clip as a separate file by right clicking on your video in the media list (this is the list on the left hand side of the screen) and select "Save Audio Clip as a separate file..."

@SafireloveLPS At this time you cannot change the pitch of the audio within VideoPad. You can use the sister software of WavePad however and import the soundtrack into your video once you have changed it.

@arereif If the audio clip is a separate track you can change any clip within the video without altering the audio. All you have to do is separate your video into clips and modify within the video track.

@atelje2121 When you save the video it will put it into the file format so that you can edit it from VideoPad again. If you want to upload the video on YouTube you can easily select the "Save Movie" button (do not go to File, Save), and at that point you can choose to upload your movie directly to YouTube.

@nchsoftware I discovered this an hour after i posted the comment, what i mean is. How do i copy the sound clips? It gets really repetitive when i have to dup the clip then Un-link the audio from the clip, drag the audio out of the way and then delete the clip.

So, is there a way to just duplicate the sound clips? (Also, i accidentally disliked you comment when i meant to reply. Sorry.)

@MrBarbixy You can change it back to asking you. If you go to the Options button and click on the "Other" tab the second option is where to add new clips. You can change that to "Ask me" again and it will reset.

@KiddSleezy If you add a song to the soundtrack it will play with the video. To do this you can add media and then drag the file to the "Clips" area. This will automatically set it as your soundtrack1 file. Let us know if you need any further answers.

@ChaoticRupture You can duplicate clips to create the same effect. If you place the clip you want looped into the video track you can right click and select "Duplicate Clip".

I bought the license do VideoPad, but the new version came with a problem I can not solve: the speed of the timeline is much higher than what is shown in the preview and Sequence Preview.

As the Preview Sequence and preview is showing the 15:00 position the Timeline is already showing the 25:00 position.

I've tried changing the speed on the effect funcion, but does not change. Even being at 100% speed, the speeds are different.

What do I do?

@ballroomzebra put the music in the 1st soundtrack then use the "save movie" feature in the file menu. Save to computer as a .flv, .wmv, Mp4 or similar video file. it should work..

@MrJaybobz This loss of quality could be due to using a lossy video format. Another thing to look at is what resolution you are importing and exporting at. Exporting at a larger size will have some quality loss also.

If you haven't exported yet and the video looks low quality in the editor you may have cropped the video. Cropping a video doesn't actually apply the crop until the video is exported. This can cause it to look like lower quality video until it is saved.

@Anthoz97 you can...if you look under the video clip a little box is there...thats the text you put on...double click on that and the preveiw window thingy comes up...the text should be in the middle of that screen.

Thanks for the help, voiceover girl. But the adding sound part at 4:54 doesn't seem to work. Also, a nice runthrough of all the different video type options to make the movie as and their pros and cons (better quality at the expense of disk space, etc.) would've been nice, too.
