please tell me, what model Canon you own, what settings did you use, and how you did it. I want to buy a canon as well, specially for this purpose, but do you think i can make a time lapse for a year long (every day some pics), whit this camera? I want to lapse the 4 seisons.
It's pretty easy: use a tripod, and set the 'custom timer' option so that it takes 10 pictures with 1-second delay from when you press the button. All you have to do at that point is remember to keep pressing the picture button every 30 seconds or so. Each time you press it, the Canon takes 10 more pictures. Then, bring all the pictures to your computer, and open them in Quicktime using the 'Open Image Sequence' command.
