  • I love the scaling job this monitor does. I prefer to play my Xbox on my 52 inch Phillips which is native 1920x1080. I thought it would horrible on this monitor since the 360 outputs a lower res. I was wrong it breaks the decent line. But my two GT 295s handle this thing fine with games on my PC.

  • I found this vid randomly.. but I still wanted to let you know that you're NIN AIR background rocks. ;-)

  • This monitor breaks at a year with no ability to repair. Check out my video on it. Gateway won't support it.

  • hes right, I saw his vid... you guys should watch it

  • thanks for an honest review!

  • Holy SHIT!!!! HAHA! That thing is gigantic!!!!! I've been thinking about getting a 30" lcd for gaming but, damn...I dunno. That thing is considerably bigger than my 24" HP.

  • did you turn motion blur off or is that part of the lag?

  • reason you didnt have u wii on 16x9? D:

  • Can you buy this in australia

  • Hi nice review !

I was wondering, there is only one HDMI input on the display so did you use an HDMI HUB or something to plug in all the console.

If that's the case could you give the reference of your switch, please ^^

  • PS3 is connected via HDMI. Xbox 360 is connected via vga. Wii is connected by component.

  • 4:45....WOW!!!

  • also, how do you know it's got input lag if you don't notice it at all?

and do you know how high is the input lag?

  • I know there's input lag if you play a game using a mouse or switch to a lower res. The mouse lags behind 1-2 frame of where it should be.

  • wait what the hell ? 1700 dollars and there's mouse lag ??? my 400 dollar 2407wfp doesn't even do that ? - am i misunderstanding??

  • There is only mouse lag when not using native resolution. This is done to provide the best image quality possible so it looks as close to native res when not using native res (but the sacrifice of that is mouse lag). To by pass it you can play in 1:1 mode.

  • @DeusGear does it still run?

  • i was wondering how SSBB looks on this monitor if it's only using 640x480 resolution, wouldn't it look extremely blurry because a 30" monitor is suppose to run at 2560x 1600 resolution.

  • This monitor is able to not blow up the image like normal lcds but analyze the entire image and upscale it preserving the details. This is why it costs so much.

  • nice review unrealsword, yes i'm from the forum XD

  • it's my dream screen.....

  • sorry do you now where can I buy it in italy?

  • What is that green line on the left

  • It was a SLI load balancer (nothing to do with the lcd). I turned it on to test how well my dual cards were working but forgot to turn it off for the video

  • Doesnt this display come with a remote? If it does, then how is it, does it feel tacked on, or is it actually a seemless interface?

  • It comes with a remote and it's not tacked on at all. It even allows you to control the LCD, xbox 360 and all your dvd players and whatever. It's set up great: but personally the led touch interface is enough for me :)

  • Ah, thats good, so the monitor is worthit then, because I have the Westinghouse L2410NM and it seems to be having some minor issues with HDCP handshaking with my PS3, I may consider buying this display then.

  • Yea it's a good buy. Check out part two of the video if you haven't already to see the PS3 working perfectly via HDMI.

  • Whats the panel type

  • It's a S-PVA panel.

  • Good Review, You CANT RACE (ok, you told me you were trying to hold a camera at the same time).

Question- Whuts the warranty on it? 1yr? 90 Days? 6 months?

  • 4 years

  • Click the video response to see part two. Sorry about that: youtubes rule about anything longer then 10 minutes.
