  • hes like LO-LO-LO!!!!

  • Ken has been hanging out with Snake(Smash Bros.Brawl). I expect a few of you will get what i mean, lol.

  • @Axel777 Don't get up, Snake'll get the phone

  • Apparently Ken's been taking lessons from ElectricalBeast. Geez. His positively British influence is spreading everywhere, even to Americans! I don't know if I should congratulate Ken, or scream obscenities at him.

  • NativeDialect is missing the point.

Ultra=Cutscene attack. If first hit lands, the rest of the attack is effectively a cutscene, with the characters inserted into their positions and playing through the motions. BWTE is just saying that this sort of thing is just what happens when a game has attacks like that. Whereas ones on the recieving end just go through their hit animations and such and its up to the attack to keep them juggled/helpless etc....

  • I've been hit by this more often than I should have. Then again, any more times than 'zero' qualifies.

  • just go play some king of fighters 98

  • Really?! WOW!!!!

Its like i DIDNT make this video to point that out!

    You're a fuckin' genius!

  • It isn't the fact that she is it. It is the fact that for what the move does, it makes no sense that Ken would magically be closer to her. The first hit should at best, connect and knock her away.

The video shows you, with a close up and slow motion, that after her leg returns to position, there is a huge gap between Chun Li and Ken. Some people wish they had powers like Spider-Sense, but in this case, you need to wish for Common Sense. It is much more useful.

  • What you don't understand though, although while it would seem more logical for her to just get knocked back, with the way the game's system is designed, once you get hit by the first hit of an Ultra, there's literally no way of getting out of it, that's how it works. The game doesn't take physics into account.

  • Are you missing the entire point of these videos? Everyone knows that the game engine functions that way. It is the fact that it is not addressed with greater attention by the developer.

Go to tvtropes and look up Hitbox Dissonance. And the game does take physics into account. I am not going into long detail about it, but seriously, you are missing the point.

  • So, you're saying her hitbox is too big? Or that her leg was back before he hit it? Because neither are true. Although for some reason her leg does visually magically return back to its original position in one frame, it wouldn't have if Ken weren't punching, because the animation for her leg going back to the original position takes more than one frame.

  • Even still, does it make sense that hitting the tip of somebody's leg, would result in them magically being sucked into an attack? You can see the large gap of space between each of them. Nobody is saying she should not have been hit. The entire attack should not have been connected. And yes her hitbox is clearly too large. Or the collision box for Ken's attack is too large. Either way it is lame.

  • I do I agree that it should not suck them in, but that's what happens because there's no escape after the first hit. The point is no one likes it when people complain about this stuff. It's really Chun-Li's fault for kicking at the wrong moment anyway. Ken was desperately hoping Chun-Li would open up for his Ultra, and she did. You have to take full responsibility for all of your actions.

  • I hit someone with a shinryuken while they were BEHIND me. I lol'd hard.

  • NO SHIT

  • PWND XD
