Anyways, I just thought I would point out that I enjoy Louis CK, and I just watched a clip of his that is basically based on a joke from one of Gallagher's shows. Comedy is comedy, whether or not you personally find it funny. @mintoman3 I'm entitled to my opinion. I don't think being disgusting is a prerequisite to being funny. And Gallagher does more than smash fruit, as everyone is well aware. The fruit thing is just a running gag and a tool to get the live audiences more involved. And, for your information, I'm 21. The name comes from a video project I used to work on in high school. Some friends and I re-voiced several cartoons, particularly Gundam and Power Rangers.

You are correct that you have a right to your opinion, but I also have a right to point out that your opinion is incorrect. And in this case, it is. Terribly so. If you're interested in standup comedy, or real standup comedy to be more specific, check out George Carlin, Bill Hicks, or Louis CK.

@mintoman3 How can an opinion be wrong? Anyways, I just thought I would point out that I enjoy Louis CK, and I just watched a clip of his that is basically based on a joke from one of Gallagher's shows. Comedy is comedy, whether or not you personally find it funny. I'm lucky enough to enjoy the full spectrum of comedy, so I find a lot of things funny, whether they're intelligent, sarcastic, or just random stupidity.

@HABI7A7 Opinions can be, and often are, wrong. An example: If one were to have the opinion that Gallagher performed quality stand up comedy, one's opinion would be wrong. It doesn't matter if you personally think it's funny or not; when held up to the standards of good taste and decency, it's just plain old bad. This guy's somewhat of a joke in a reality.

@mintoman3 An opinion is a personal view. You cannot possibly say that someone's opinion is wrong. Who decides what is "quality" comedy? There is no standard for what is funny and what is not. That's like saying something tastes bad. You may not like it, but someone else might. Your dislike and their like are opinions, and are not right or wrong.
