  • mac once believed Mat 3:11 baptized in Hs was fulfilled in Act 1:4-8 an referred to apostles only. The baptism of the HS was a promise that was miraculous in nature and we believe it lasted until the Apostle finished writing the NT.

  • Jesus is also called the baptizer. This verse is referring to being baptized with the holy spirit. I have no problem with the word baptism. In fact I believe like you that without we can't be saved. But what is baptism referring to...that is the question.

  • 1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This man did not finish the scripture. It actually teaches that water baptism does not save.
