I think it works so well because its not about christmas at all. Its about being an adult and remembering briefly what it was like when you were a kid all full of innonece, excitement, and wonder. Which is sad. But also perfect.

Secret Name is my favourite. At the mid point of their career, their songs were still quite stark and slow but more accessible than their earlier albums.

Secret Name is a good starting point, but my personal choice would be Things We Lost in the Fire. Their best album and readily accessible as a starting point.

Yupp! Perfect! Never heard it before yesterday when it was playing on the radio - I was driving through storm & rain - hardly looked like christmas outside - but this song made me still feel just like christmas... must be the bells.
