Ok, having played Animal Crossing I understand why they made K.K. Slider sing in "Animalese" - Pronouncing each individual letter of the words in the sentences he is speaking, incredibly fast, as to be heard only as a series of high-pitched, sounds; such as "Quequeque" and Ohmeeoh".

It pays tribute to the original character.

But seriously, this is a MOVIE.

They couldn't get away with making the voice actor sing a few lines in normal, human speech?! This scene seemed like a cop-out to me.
