The event occured at 1:04 not 42 seconds. i like this footage, looks like a space craft out of contol not exhaust emmisions from a aircraft. if you pause the footage you will se its NOT a plane or a jet but a saucer shaped craft.

Where was this footage taken? Its clearly a prototype jet because if it was an "Alien" and i use this term lightly to show my lack of belief. Exhaust emmisions wouldnt be shown by a race that would have to sneak through earths telescopes and such so meh. Shape of it indicates jet aswell.

I dont think the 1st thing that flys or crashing past ( coz it really looks like its crashing ) is not a jet coz it has not got the shape of one that we no of. I don't think that this is an ET craft or that the smoke trail is an exhaust. I think it's wake turbulence from a jet when seen from a telescope. maybe there is some exhaust as well, but mostly turbulence. either way it's a very lucky shot to get on video.

Interesting spotting. Seems whatever it was was flying dark, and afaik FAA rules require marker lights for civilian aircraft flying at night. Thus I'd say it's some military craft. It's hard to tell how big it was, but I'm guessing it's on the small side by how quickly the exhaust trail dissipated. Maybe you glimpsed one of the Global Hawks or something similar to that flying by. What they're doing over NY? Who knows? Maybe spying on Mohawks or the Canadian border?

strange thing sat in the middle of that crater, excellent view of the moon aswell... i kept trying to pause the video on the point where it comes into the frame, between 1.03 and 1.05, its a strange shape =/... interesting video, and a great video, just wish the camera would have had more of the moon in shot, would have been a perfect white background to contrast it... and the noise is very slight, could almost be just the wind... i agree with "possible meteor" but straaange =S 1in a million lol
