I just got an IDM02 and none of the trigger inputs work. I reset the module to factory defaults and still nothing. The pads on the module work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

@C0Z62 If all or several drum trigger inputs don't work, someone probably used too long a screws, or else drastically overtightened the screws that clamp the drum module to the rack. The mounting screws went too far into the case and dug into the trigger circuit board destroying the circuitry. If your triggers no longer work, and if you know what you're doing, check the bottom of the trigger circuit board for physical damage from the screws. It's not an easy repair - requires micro-soldering.

i have this and its really not good. when i got it one of the pedals was broken so i cant use, and all the drums are pretty similar, also it has trouble sometimes playing two drums at the same time. kinda destroys the idea really, i would suggest getting a more expensive one if you are thinking of purchasing

@ApexDubb - Alesis was bought out by Numark, the same company that owns ION Audio and Akai. ION 'borrowed' the SR-16 and repacked it to sell as the sound module of a complete electronic drum kit (Sound Session iED01). Their new kits actually come w/ a smaller Alesis-branded DM6 module.

my mistake i noticed the video iED05 DRUM KIT DEMO its an 05, but yeah mine comes with everything except for like one a part of the frame, the pedals, and maybe some wires idk.

They won't admit it, but Ion Audio is actually a subsidiary of Alesis. Everything is identical to the SR-16, even the ROM.

hi you seem like you know what you are doing with this ive somehow stopped the kick sound workin either with the pedal or pad, ive tried phoning ion audio but didnt help much, is there a way to reset to factory settings pleeeeeeease i need help thanks - steve
