It also suggests he would be a good protector from predators and that he is an efficient resource gather. All the above makes him an excellent choice to father a child with. Its attractive because our ancestors who found it attractive would mate with them and have healthier offspring which themselves found muscular males attractive. Its basic evolution through sexual selection.
