Can anyone tell me which aria from Romeo et Juliet Corelli is singing? That high C sounds beastly and I'd like to hear the rest of the aria/cabaletta/cavatina/whatever it happens to be
I am a fan of Franco but, sorry, this video was to be called High Notes and not High C, because many of the notes described are Natural B and not High Do. Even the sharp La Bohème is a B natural, as Corelli was getting lower the air half-tone.
@tompussina "L'enigmi sono tre" and "ti voglio ardente d'amor" are high Cs, and the end of thetrio of Il Trovatore is a High D flat, so, there is a mix of high notes. Anyway, Corelli top notes were incredible!
@georgependill ---Turandot (Italian pronunciation: [tu.ɾanˈdɔt][1]) is an opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini, set to a libretto in Italian by Giuseppe Adami and Renato Simoni. ---Franco Corelli acted as The Unknown Prince (Calàf),

This La Bohème, is half tone lower (B, not C).
The two high notes on Andrea Chenier duet are natural B, not C (as written in music score).
The Turandot duet is a wonderful high C, from him and the soprano (who?).
The "ti voglio ardeeeeeente" (also Turandot) another high C, not in the music score.
The "Il Trovatore" end of first act is not a high C, but a D flat.
Poliutto: high B, later is C. Romeo (high C).
Ugonotti high C (terrific), later he ends ("Ognoooorrrr") with a B flat.
