if he is ok now....he will be ok...the worries are more to do with exposure to mold on a 24 hour a day basis ...breathing in the spores etc....environmental exposure ...your home is mold infestred ...oor you are a contractor dealing with mold every day - that is the risk..not eating a little food mold...no need to worry ..
the site makes many statements without peer-reviewed journal citations. Most mold research for agencies is done using logistic regression which is not as valid as parametric statistics...

We used regular powdered cleanser with active ingredient *sodium-dichloro-s-triazinetrione dihydrate* 1.2% Dampen water spray area lightly, "if" only on porcelains, tile etc; and powder so dust sticks, leave on as long as possible for best absorption, before cleaning off. If "old" wood or wallboard, it may be better to dust it without any light water spray, as mold thrives on dampness, [and hates sunlight}. It can only help and can't hurt! Good health and good luck!

This worked for us!
