Awesome all star line-up.  Was I the only person to buy Wayne's Joy Ryder album? I always liked this tune, although I almost always prefer Shorter performing in smaller group situations. The horns just don't do it for me here.

No, it's from 1997. This was on a program on ABC titled "Nissan Presents: The 2nd Annual Celebration of America's Music", hosted by Bill Cosby. The event raised money for the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz.
