Okay, right there is one reason why the USA does not want this treaty. We allow homeschooling.
Heck, I think it's great that other nations have adopted it. They treat their children like crap. But the US would be giving away too much if we ratified it. Sorry UN, you don't trump US law, and hopefully never will.
