I think David Martin Anderson does a great job in his new book, 'The Last Good Horse,' describing horse round-ups in the 1930s on Pryor Mountain. There's also an author interview on the subject on You Tube. Do a search under the author's name to find it. Great stuff. Great read! Very relevant.
Forest service, the wild horses are a part of the Native wildlife in the national forest! Horses evolved ONLY on north america! They improve the lands, spread grass seed with their grazing habits.
We americans demand you(the forest service) and the BLM not use FENCES between public lands and forest service (national parklands)land!! Both lands are 'owned' and paid for by US americans...its a waste of taxpayer funds, ruins 'the look' of the meadow and downright evil to horses.
omg why do they do things like this to the couple real wild horse hearts out there theres only a couple of herds left :((((((((((((((((( gooooo horsies lol
nnneeiiiggghhhhhh!!!!! thankyou dear sister for helping us with your beautiful heart~may you always know peace love and gratitude dear one in your every day~hugs and licks and nuzzles~from all the horses everywhere
The Wild Mustangs of the Prior mountains is an extremely important, valuable and irreplaceable National Resource and Treasure. Both BLM and NFS is required to conserve and protect that resource. If they were to take any action to harm the viability of the heard the Directors and other personell of both agencies are subject to a very large law suit. I wouldn't build that fence if I were them.
Don't they have anything better to do than build that fence? Honestly, so many people outside the forest service and BLM see what a tourist attraction, a wonderful real life history lesson and a beautful creation these horses are. How is it all they can see is a pest? They must have some of those logs in their own eyes to be so blind.
Must find the e-mail address for these people! continue the barrage!
Im trying to stop this as well.the blm has no right to do this!this needs to stop.i cant believe this is happening!
