I discovered this while making some blood myself; If it looks too bright, just add some chocolate syrup.

some other ideas, actually mixing the corn starch in cold water then bringing it to a boil will activate it's thickening properties giving you a goo or gel consistency depending on the water you added. Flour would work in much the same way but wouldn't be as translucent. Also just a cooking fact, you can make a simple syrup to your own thickness by getting sugar just slightly soaked with water then microwaving it.

@karoshakhnazarov what you do is you film the whole scene from a couple of different angles, import them all in to your editing program, and cut between them. You just use bit's from other angles when it starts to get boring look at the one usually. Hope i helped.

i've got a very good effect and collor by mixing chocolate topping and carmin colorant. it's verry cheap and the color is just a bit darker than my blood but you know blood become darker with drying. but i like to use reel blood its far more realistic.

Then set the camera again and let the second person talk. And back and forth until I'm done. Or do I set the camera. And let the person say all his lines and what not. Then go to the next person and let him say all his lines.  Dajve-

@dechols87 I go with letting someone do all his lines, then moving the camera to the next person, otherwise people will tell that you have moved the camera and would not look good. I would also record my actors saying their lines more than once so I can make sure I have enough footage so if there is a line that was messed up or the actor did not act well enough I have a spare.
