There aren't any assists per se in Rally Trophy IIRC, only three different difficulty levels.
For added challenge you could use a RWD car like the Escort MK1. They really go sideways like crazy.

this game seems to be realy easy and unrealistic.... you should try richard burns rally its much more fun and realy hard to play

I've played RBR ever since it came out. Live for Speed is another keeper if realism and depth is your thing.
Rally Trophy is more arcade, but I like it for different reasons. It's not either/or for me.

Yep, there are fan modes of the game - for instance, the all new event at Australia, even driving on a Torrana ! :-)
