Macs are better if you can afford them but honestly not worth it for how much they sell for. And Windows isn't so bad, if maintained properly it runs just as well.

OS X snow leopard is the best operation system for home use in the world right now. It's extremely user friendly and stays fast and runs smooth for very long periods of time. Windows 7 gets slower, and slower, and slower like every other windows OP in the past once you start downloading and adding files to it. OS is also more stable. Anyone who is not using a mac is either a hardcore gamer, can't afford one or is just behind the times. Macs are soundly better.

as does windows 7.

i personally own a mac. but only because it is less likely that i will get a virus. (notice i said less likely not impossible)

windows however its not that hard to get a virus- i would no ive gotten many even with virus protection.

however windows is great for gaming and work

everything you said is true. macs are great and are less likely to get a virus but my driving force to get a windows is fueled by the gaming capacity with it. i mostly use my mac for internet and networking.

What do you think I just did? LOL Macs are simply a waste of money! For the same price, you can get a PC three times as powerful! I just took my iMac back yesterday and custom ordered the top of the line Dell XPS 8300 performance PC for the same price! Amazing how blind I have been for the past five years only buying Apple products.

Waiting on my new hard drive to get here then gonna try it out for myself. Used the beta on my mom's PC, which was a pentium 4 at 2.4 and 1 gig of Ram and seemed about the same as when she had XP on it. So quad core and 4 gigs of DDR3 should fly.

Windows 7 has been tweaked so nicely that its requirements thus far are lower than Vista.

People with only 1GB of RAM can run it ith Aero. So far its pretty nice.

Many people are still using XP and some of these features will be "new" to them. Besides there are those people who don't know much about computers and may not know you can just search for a program, ect. and videos like these help them become more productive and makes it easier to use the computer.

All of these features are new to Windows XP users, which still dominated a majority of PCs.

If any of the features aren't new to Vista, they're refined. Search is faster, connecting to a network is faster, and it all looks better doing it.

Either way, it doesn't matter because you're going to end up using it if you're a PC user, unless you think running an obsolete 8-year old OS is a better idea.
